Responsibilities
  • Design and support of ATE build out from conception to shipment
  • Custom application programming for Power Conversion products
  • May include pre-sales support, production support and post-sales support
  • Must be good at time management both your own and others
  • Interpret applications and resolve technical issues
Qualifications
  • ITAR access
  • Working knowledge of software and hardware electrical power test equipment (ATE) including AC/DC power sources, electronic loads, electrical safety testers, power meters and general electrical lab test equipment
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Test Engineering or related field with software ATE programming experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills required
  • PC literacy, knowledge of the Internet, and related technologies e.g. MS Office tools (Word, Excel etc.) is a must
  • Need to be organized and efficient
  • Some Lab View knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Basic shipping/receiving functions including packaging/label generations/form completion/UPS, FedEx, DHL
  • Shipping International Shipments
  • Basic inventory management functions in the warehouse to control inventory levels
  • Pack & Un-pack crates and boxes as required to support shipping & receiving
  • Housecleaning skills to maintain safe and organized warehouse inventory
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft Word and Excel & general computer experience

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies in order to drive sales within the assigned region. This role is responsible and accountable for creating, servicing, and maintaining an opportunity pipeline with current Chroma customers as well as generating new regional business with the overall goal of meeting sales targets.

The Regional Sales Manager builds strong relationships with customers and identifies solutions to their power conversion or safety testing requirements. She/he is responsible for keeping the management team informed of strategic planning and performance, as well as working with crosses functional teams such as Inside Sales, Marketing, Order Entry, and Service. The position is also responsible for ensuring that any challenges affecting the ability to develop long term relationships between Chroma and its customers in their assigned area are managed to resolution.

The position requires excellent people-management skills, high focus on sales targets, an ability to communicate at all levels in the organization, and a thorough understanding of Chroma's products and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plan for his/her region to ensure sales targets are given every opportunity to be met.
  • Responsible and accountable for instrument sales target as well as identifying automated test solutions.
  • Focus on new growth markets and target accounts.
  • Look for ways to improve sales in their region and communicates their ideas to senior management.
  • Travel into regions on regular basis (25%) to meet with key customers and/or prospect new accounts as well as attend trade/networking events.
  • Perform product demonstrations customers while differentiating Chroma products from competitor offerings.
Qualifications
  • Advanced level of specialized sales and power conversion test solution knowledge with a solid understanding of Chroma's products and technologies.
  • Ability to travel within region 25% of the time.
  • BSEE degree or 5+ years of regional technical sales experience preferably in a power conversion industry.
  • Self-motivation, self-management and professionalism with advanced organizational, negotiation, problem solving skills and team building skills. High energy with the capability to manage multiple customers in a dynamic, rapidly growing company.
  • Strong level of business acumen, in order to articulate and understand the business requirements from the customer's perspective as well as Chroma's internal requirements.
  • Proven track record in achieving and overachieving targets.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and preferably Sage CRM.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a plan to penetrate the market and acquire a market presence for Chroma's LED Lighting Test Systems (Sphere Testing, LED Driver testing, Automated and Semi-Automated testing & Production Lines for LED bulbs, tubes, boards/fixtures, etc.)
  • Identifying key accounts and market requirements; identifying trends, threats and opportunities for product improvement
  • Develop short-term and long-term strategies and sales plans for new account acquisition and management of all established customers
  • Train and coach the internal sales organization (Regional Managers / Internal Sales Support) to identify and generate leads for the LED market / provide tech support for regional/internal sales for ongoing customer accounts

Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

We are currently seeking an experienced ATE System Support Engineer to operate out of our Foothill Ranch headquarters.

The role ATE Service Engineer is responsible for handling customer calls when in house within the prescribed resolution time or escalating it when all ideas are exhausted, act as a subject matter expert, and perform calibrations. When traveling, s(he) will provide world class assistance to our customers assisting with installation, calibration and troubleshooting ATE power measurement systems. The engineer will also learn Chroma's PowerPro and Captivate software packages to the level of being able to train customers. Activities are to be accomplished per management directives and in compliance with Chroma USA policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • When not traveling, handle customer phone calls with over the phone troubleshooting and replication of customer setup to ascertain problem
  • Read schematics, apply electrical/electronic principles and troubleshoot instruments to board or component level where applicable
  • Understand and apply AC theory to customer issues involving Chroma AC power test instruments duplicating customer setups to assess issue
  • Detailed oriented for performing calibration per NIST
  • Diligent in solving and following up on customer issues

Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of formal technical school in electricity/electronics AND
  • Five years or more experience in repair of AC power electronics OR
  • Four year degree in Electronic Technology or Electrical Engineering
  • Accredited soldering training
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively in domestic US if required
  • Capacity to work under tight or shifting deadlines and adhere to procedures
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Access
  • Knowledge of PowerPro and/or Captivate software a plus
  • Detail oriented

IT Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Technician to operate out of our Foothill Ranch headquarters.

The position reports into our IT department and is responsible for internal user service issues, such as helping staff with client computer problems, building client computers for new staff, and various other tasks assisting the IT manager.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing internal customers with IT issues
  • Building new PCs and redeploying existing ones for incoming staff
  • Troubleshoot and other tasks related to the help and up-time of the IT equipment
  • Assist the IT manager in maintaining up time of the company servers and network
  • Facility network connections, punch-downs, and other types of connectivity issues
  • Support of the company phone system and facility alarm systems
Qualifications
  • 4 Year College degree a plus
  • 2+ years experience
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communicator and people friendly
  • Some extra hours will be required in support of system issues and maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair pcs using RDP and other remote access tools
