This position will work closely with CEO/President and oversees all accounting/finance concerns of the company.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise staff of 5 regarding purchasing, order entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and closing of the financials
  • Evaluate the overall efficiency of the company and create new controls to limit financial risks when needed
  • Manages all aspects of payroll including processing employee payments, deductions, and timely filing of compliance items
  • Administers all 401k matters and evaluates possible investments for the company
  • Manage close relationships with external CPA’s, lawyers, bankers, and insurance brokers
  • Provide regular cash flow analysis and occasional special projects to CEO/President
  • File periodic sales and property tax statements
  • Review & analyze monthly financials
  • Process international payroll for Mexico and Canadian employees
  • Prepare government compliance documents
  • Analyze new and current customer credit terms
  • Review monthly bonuses and commissions
  • Manages online benefits portal
  • periodical inventory audits
  • Assists with year-end audit
  • Process weekly check run
  • Qualification Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of Accounting Manager experience – Previous experience with Paychex & MAS200 strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal clarity and excellent grammar to explain payroll & benefits etc. to all levels of employees
  • Ability to maintain composure while discussing employee issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Extensive excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
