At the CharIN Testival North America 2025, Chroma’s EV & EVSE charging test solution stood out among numerous international participants, winning third place in the test equipment category. This event is one of the world’s premier platforms for electric vehicle (EV) charging interoperability testing.
Chroma’s 62450D-2000HL Bidirectional DC Power Supply is designed with high power density, delivering up to 45kW output in a compact 4U chassis. With master-slave parallel configuration, it can deliver up to 360kW in a standard 41U 19-inch rack, and scale even further to MW-level output through cross-cabinet parallel connection.
Chroma has introduced a battery reliability test system integrated with EIS functionality, enabling automated switching between DC charge/discharge and AC impedance measurements. This innovation eliminates the need for separate EIS testing stations: battery connections are made once with no need for repeated handling or rewiring, which significantly reduces labor demands and operational errors.
