Exploring EV OBC/DC-DC Converter ATS

EV OBC/DC-DC Converter ATS
Chroma 8000
Built-in standard test items compliant with QC/T 895, GB/T 24347, GB/T 40432, SAE J2894 standard requirements that can be loaded directly without reprogramming
On-Board Chargers (OBC) convert grid power into DC current to charge the on-board energy storage device. In addition to all the functions of the general OBC, the Bidirectional OBC (BOBC) can also output the stored power for applications such as V2L, V2V, and V2G. The DC/DC converter converts the high voltage DC power to low voltage for the auxiliary power output of the EV battery.
Chroma has a complete line of AC and DC power load products. We provide automatic test systems for OBCs and DC/DC converters that verify the performance and safety of your products according to their characteristics and test requirements. The systems are especially suitable for R&D verification, QA and production lines of EV parts manufacturers and EV factories.
- Automated test system for EV OBC and DC-DC converters
- Supports GB/T 40432 and GB/T 24347; convenient implementation of relevant electrical and communication tests
- Customizable fixtures and panels for easy connection between DUT and test equipment and smooth replacement of parts
- Highly integrated and open architecture; test system and scope can be tailored to specific needs
- Comprehensive test report compilation

On-Board Charger ATS
On-board charger (OBC) converts the AC power of the charging station (EVSE) into DC power to charge the EV battery. Currently common OBC power specifications include 3.3kW, 6.6kW, 11kW, and 22kW. However, the future will bring increasing numbers of bidirectional on-board chargers (BOBCs) that apply to the EV through V2X modes. Chroma ATE provides test items that comply with GB/T 40432 and other relevant test standards, assisting users with complete verification of various application modes on the unit under test (UUT).
